The exams have gotten over, and now I can post on my blog again as I am not busy studying all the time. Exams were really tough. First we had Math, then Hindi - my 2nd language, Science, Social Science, English and lastly Telugu - my 3rd language. We had half day of school on all these days (even for the computers exam which was the first). Everyday, we had assembly, and then we wrote the exam and came home. They wanted to send us home really early and rushed us to the buses, so we students did not have time to discuss our answers. I don’t really think that exams are necessary because we have tests for each and every single chapter during regular school days. So I'm not sure what the purpose of exams are other than to check how well we remember our lesson. But since every school has exams, I think there must be some good reason for it.
I have been selected for the CBSE zone chess and tennis tournament. The tennis tournament is in November and the chess tournament starts tomorrow. I will write (type) about my experience as soon as it gets over. I had played in the CBSE zonal chess torunament last year too and I didn’t like it very much even though I won 8 out of 10 games. There were many reasons, but, I am trying to make things better this time. This year the team is bigger, and all the players are better too (than last year's team). I even know most of the team members as they are from my colony. Even my sister is on the team this year. Unfortunately, all of them are younger than me so this might make the trip boring for me. But I still plan to enjoy the tournament Note: There is no note this time.
