Untitled Post.

Since I already used the title "Deja Vu", I decided to call this an untitled post. I have gotten injured again, and this time, I broke a bone on my foot. I can't walk properly, run..... etc. I am not even going to school (that was only for two days and now we have holidays for a week). Anyway, I am tired of sharing bad news about my injuries (it gets boring if you do it again and again).
Now, I have a lot of time to post on my blog - after all, I am not playing outside all the time as my leg is in a cast - but I am not sure what to write about. I really had a lot of things to do. Here's the list:
  Going to my friend's place.
  Watching  Don 2.
  Playing tennis tournaments.
  Getting a haircut.
  Playing on the laptop.
  Using mosquito-spray in my room.
  Eating (junk food).
  Watching Mission Impossible 4.
However, in my current condition, watching Mission Impossible would be like trying to accomplish an Impossible Mission.

I had no plans for the vacation, but now I will not be able to make any. I just wanted to do the usual stuff, like playing video games, basketball, tennis, and trying not to be bored to death (that's what's happening to me). If my father wasn't at home, my dog would have been bored to death like me too. That reminds me, the chairman of the Hyderabad Blue-Cross came to our school and gave a speech. The chair(wo)man was Amala Akkineni. She told us to treat animals well, importance of nature, how to treat stray and pet animals (which I think I know), and other stuff, most of which I knew. They also made us learn the Blue-Cross number. I couldn't listen to the whole speech, because my bus left before the speech got over.

There was a fete organised by our school. People bought some space in our ground, like 3 x 3, or 3 x 2 metres to set up stalls. The stalls provided food, entertainment, etc and there were some very interesting ones like one that provided mocktails and one that had exotic birds and charged people for taking pictures with the birds. I wonder what it would have been like if somebody had got their dog to school and made it do some tricks. Me and my friend even wanted to set up a game stall, in which they would use soft balls to hit my friend (he is faster) and he would dodge them. If they hit him, they would get 50% of their money back. But we decided to drop this idea, and it was not because of my leg. On the day of the fete, our school's rock band gave a live performance. Other attractions at the fete were a haunted house, a fashion show and a DJ. We had to buy tickets for entering the fete, and all the money went to the charity. I'm still not sure if you got to keep the profit you earn through a stall.

My mother got a new phone because her old phone drowned. If you think only children make mistakes, then you are wrong. The phone slipped from my mother's hand and fell into a tub of water. I don't know what the adults who read this will think. Most probably: 'If mothers are dropping phones, I have no clue how careless children are!' But I'd like to assure them that  I am not at all careless. And poor phone, dosen't even know how to swim, it must  have been thinking, "Oh no! Somebody help! I'm falling into the ocean! Help! Atleast save my best friend, the battery. That poor fellow is stuck on my backside! Nooooooooo! (SPLASH!)" (The drowned phone, and it's best friend, the battery were still worth 300 rupees.) The new phone is a Samsung Galaxy, and the old one was a Nokia. I need to find all the games and other cool stuff on the new phone, but first I need to find out her new password.

Note: Lost my camera and can't walk around to search for it, so no pictures.

Back To Normal (No time to think of a proper Title)

Today: I climbed the wall and jumped out of the community. Then I ran all around the street and came back home. This should explain the title of the post..... if you don't know why, read the previous posts.
Yesterday: I had a lot of homework.
Day Before: I had my dinner.
Conclusion: Everything is TOTALLY 'Back To Normal' (even the social science projects).

The first and most major thing that I missed was the CBSE South Zone Tennis Tournament. I had been practicing in all my free periods, but in the end, all I could do was go to school and catch up on the work that I missed while I practiced for the tournament. The second (and not that major) thing that I missed was the celebration of Deepavali. Maybe it is too noisy to be my favourite festival, but I still enjoy it. And the main thing you do during the festival is light crackers..... and run before they burst. Unfortunately, I couldn't run and I had no intention to burn my injured leg so I didn't burst big crackers. The festival and tennis tournament were the two major things that I missed, but there were many small things that I missed.  It turned out that our inter-house sports were taking place on the week in which I had gotten injured. I couldn't play with my neighbors, couldn't play sports at school, couldn't sit down while eating, and couldn't even jump around in my house.

The third week of November is not a normal week in our house, because we have two family members' birthday in the same week. This means I am eating a lot of cake and chocolates, going out to buy birthday gifts and eating out. I am also trying to keep everybody happy as I don't want anybody to be upset on their birthday.

There was another quiz at school: the geo-map quiz. I teamed up with my best friend, and decided to take part in the quiz. So we started preparing, and we learnt all the countries and all the capitals. On the day of the quiz, we saw the question paper, and started laughing. We had learnt all the countries, all the capitals, and the quiz was mostly about map reading. And then, after laughing for some time, we did the quiz like we were people who didn't prepare. And amazingly (I don't know how) we still managed to get the third place. I don't know what is next (if this was the first round or the finals), but I hope we figure it out soon and prepare for the right thing.

Note: I am having three birthday cakes in total during this week - two small parties at home and one big party outside.

Deja Vu.... after 4 years

Let me start this post with some advice. It is NOT a good idea to run around in an unfinished playground, especially if your parents are not home. This comes from my own experience. I am typing this post with five stitches on my left knee, which is now a pretty much useless joint and will remain so for around one week. I can't play, sit for a long time, or bend my leg, and this is why my joint has turned into a useless joint.  The stitches aren't making it any better.

My parents had gone to Thailand for a vacation and me and my sister were alone at home. The third day after they left, I went out to play in the park. I was chasing another boy and I fell onto a half finished path made of tiles. I fell and skid on the path on my left knee, which ended up with an oval shaped hole in it. My friend said that I may need stitches and I went home immediately. I washed my leg and sent my sister to call our neighbor, who took me to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, when we reached the nearby hospital, there was no doctor to examine my leg. So we had to drive to another hospital, where they dressed my wound but they didnt have anybody to stitch up my wound. I really did not want stitches because they really hurt the last time I got them. But my neighbor knew better and insisted that I get my wound properly treated.
So we drove to the hospital where I had gotten my stitches last time.

That time, the experience was horrible, as they had no anesthesia. I was only seven - going to be eight -when I had gotten the stitches last time. And it was on the same leg, just a few millimeters below my new wound. They had to get around four nurses to put the leg down as I was not cooperating. I had gotten only three stitches at that time, and this time it would be five stitches. I just hoped that they would use some anesthesia this time, and I didn't want stitches without anaesthesia.

Then we finally reached the hospital and went in. A doctor said that it would be better to have the stitches, and I was going to need them. They started by giving me four injections around my wound, and they didn't hurt much. I was guessing that it was some local anesthesia, because I wasn't dizzy when they were stitching, but I wasn't feeling any pain either. Finally the stitches were done, and they gave me a tetanus injection. They told me not to bend my leg or get it wet. I finally went back home and called my parents to tell them what had happened. I even had to take a few antiseptic tablets.

Note: I couldn't have managed without my neighbors. I feel very grateful for having such good neighbors who helped me out when I really needed it and took very good care of me and drove me around to many hospitals to make sure that I got the correct treatment.

A Trip to Pondicherry

Even when I wanted to stay at home and play with my neighbor, my mother and sister managed to drag to the railway station with another neighbor’s family for a vacation in Pondicherry/Puducherry (whatever you want to call it). There were four children in total: my sister, two of my neighbors and me. There were three adults: my neighbor’s parents and my mother, and they were going to be joined by my father soon. All the children were younger than me, and this meant another boring vacation. The train left the station at about 6:00 in the evening and reached at 8:00 the next day morning. We played UNO in the train and our dinner was some food which we brought along from home. The next day, our father came to the Chennai railway station to pick us up. From there, we hired an Innova van to drive us to Pondicherry/Puducherry (whatever you want to...). The drive was very long, and seemed longer when I was squished into the back of the car with my sister. We had stopped at a hotel for (a really good) breakfast before driving for some more time to reach the hotel in which we were staying. The view was breathtaking.

The entrance to the hotel was like a walk through a forest. It was actually a guest house and not a hotel. There were three bungalows in the compound. One belonged to the owner, and the other two were guest houses. We were staying in the one furthest from the entrance. All of these houses were surrounded by small and thin canals in which there were hundreds of fishes. There was also a pond behind every house and there was a water snake in the pond behind the owner’s house. The owner must really like animals, because he kept four dogs and a cat as pets. I like animals too, and I changed my mind about not wanting to come only because of them. As soon as we put our luggage in our rooms and went to the lobby of the house (hotel), the other children asked the manager if they could see the dog. The manager got the well-trained dog to our house. It was a South-Indian hunting breed called the Rajapalayam and looked a lot like a greyhound. The dog was huge but I wasn’t afraid of it. My father and I were the only ones who pet the dog, even though it was my sister and the other children who asked for the dog to be brought to our bungalow.
We had lunch and spent two hours figuring out how to charge my DS (it needs 110 volts) and playing bluff with UNO cards. At 4:00 in the evening, we went to the Pondicherry/Puducherry (whatever you want...)beach; actually, it was not a beach, because it was covered with rocks and they did not allow us to reach the water. It didn't have any sand at all! So I played some catch, had an ice-cream and went with my father to a visitor center to find out more about Pondicherry/Puducherry (whatever...). Then we went to the Auro beach, only to swim. The beach was stinking a lot because the local fishermen dried fish on the sand right on the beach. I made a mental note to have a proper bath after going to the guest house, and then enjoyed the beach. Unfortunately, I was not allowed to go very deep into the water, even when I knew how to swim very well.

Coco on my lap
As soon as we went back to the guest-house, we saw the cat. It was brown, black and white and it's name was Coco. I really liked the cat and it always climbed onto my lap. I tried to take pictures, but the cat was scared of the flash and shut it's eyes. I had a bath and ate my (delicious) food. In our room, the bed was big enough for only three people to sleep on and there was a separate mattress for one person on the floor. I slept on the mattress on the floor because I was used to doing this in my room at home too.

The next day we went to the Auroville visitor center. There, we saw a movie about the Matrimandir. There was a lot of information about the place in French, so I couldn't read it. Then we went outside the visitor center, where there were many stalls selling food items which were prepared from vegetables grown in Auroville. Then we walked one kilometer to see the Matrimandir viewing point. When we walked back, everybody was tired, and we went to one of the stalls to buy lemon juice. It was very good, and I had three glasses of it. When we were going to the car, we saw a welcome sign that said welcome in 13 different languages. We were able to identify 12 of the languages. We had lunch in a restaurant, and then went to Aurobindo Ashram. We reached some time before the Ashram opened, and we had to wait. While waiting, we saw a monkey that almost ran into me. Someone even tried to offer the monkey a banana. After a while the Ashram opened and we went inside. We weren't allowed to make any noise. There were many pictures of Swami Aurobindo and the divine Mother who had started the Ashram.

From there we went to another beach called the Paradise Beach. The beach was on an island and we had to go there in a boat; it was a fifteen minute ride. We saw fish jumping out of the water on our ride. The beach was the best beach that we visited in our trip. Unfortunately, there was a beach-guard who wouldn't let us wade very deep into the water. We had a lot of fun and lost track of time. After a long time, we went back to our guest house and played bluff with UNO cards again. We went to sleep after a long time.

It was the last day, and we were planned to visit the Mahabalipuram monuments built by the Pallava king 1600 years ago. There were five monuments. First we went to the main monument. It was a bit interesting, as it had hollow pillars that made music, an old lighthouse built by the Pallavas and a new lighthouse built by the British people. We also visited the other four monuments which are the Five Rathas, Arjuna's Penance (which has more than150 images carved onto a single rock), Krishna's Butterball (which was a rock that balanced at the edge of a steep drop but never falls) and Shore temples. After that we went to a restaurant that delivered food so slow that we lost our appetite. On our way to the railway station, we stopped at the very famous Sri Krishna Sweets shop to buy some snacks for our train journey. The train left in the evening and we reached home the next day. The train journey was a bit boring, but I was happy to reach home.

Note: I have decided to call Pondicherry/Puducherry (...) Pondicherry from today.

My Experience in Chennai (CBSE South-Zone Chess Tournament)

Part 2: The Last 3 days.

Day 3: 13 in 1!
This morning there was a fight for the bathroom again. I went to another room to have my bath……again. We went to the school for breakfast, and got stuck in the long line. After breakfast, I checked the list of players to check whom I was playing and this time it I again got an unrated player as my opponent. Even if he didn’t have rating, he played really well. I had to focus a lot to keep the position equal. Suddenly I was a piece up and got to a winning position. Then I lost concentration for a second and made a huge blunder and the match ended in a draw. During the lunch break, I met the boy from Bangalore again and played a practice game against him (which again ended in a draw). Later in the afternoon, I easily won the second game of the day against another unrated player. When we had to go back to our hotel, and our chess coach did something very weird, he asked all of us to get into the same auto! There was 1 driver, 1 coach, 1 ma’am, 2 parents and 8 children all crammed into an auto that was meant to hold 7 people. The ride was very bumpy and we kept stepping on each other’s feet. After reaching the hotel, our chess coach organized a small tournament only for boys. We had to go back to the school for dinner. While going and coming back, there were thirteen people in one auto again. There was so much foot-stamping that I had a new reason for why thirteen is considered an unlucky number. The auto rides got me very exhausted, and I went to sleep before any of the people started snoring (or singing).
 Day 4: Marina Beach.
It was my best friend’s birthday. I called him after the first game was over and wished him. For the first time in the tournament, all my team mates and I had won effortlessly against unrated players. We were all very happy, and I was even more delighted when I noticed that my father had come to stay with us for the day. As a treat for winning all the games at the same time, our chess coach decided to take us to the beach in the evening. I won my second game that day too.
We went to the beach in a bus, and saw more of the city. At the beach, all we did was stand at the edge of the beach to get our feet wet in the waves. Some of my friends had gone horse riding. Almost all of them had thought it was a time waste. Other things at the beach were that we saw many crabs in the sand and one of my friend’s glasses had gotten washed away by the waves. I felt sorry for him because he wasn’t able to see really clearly and he couldn't do the thing that he liked the most - reading books. The bus dropped us back at the school for dinner, and we went to the hotel as soon as we finished our food. I slept really late in the night, thanks to some loud snoring (but luckily no singing).
Day 5: The Last Day.
This was the last and final day of our trip. We had to play only one match, which I easily won again. My total score was 5.5 out of 7. I realized that if I played the 3rd match a little more carefully and won it instead of a draw, I could have won a prize. Even my sister won 5.5 points, but the girls’ team had to play only six matches. My sister had won a prize, and my father was there to congratulate her. We had to go to the railway station in a bus in the evening, and it was really crowded and suffocating. My father had come to the station to drop us off. In the train, we had a lot of fun with two other children in our compartment. I also had time to write all this in my notebook before going to sleep. Sleeping was not easy when there was a fan right above my feet.  We go off at the station the next day in the morning, and finally reached home (only to see the blue-cross chasing stray dogs in the railway station).  I have to go to Chennai again for my tennis tournament in November, and I wonder how the experience will be.
Note: Even though this was the end of the chess tournament, this wasn't the end of my Chennai visit since we had to back there on our way to Pondicherry for a short vacation. The next post will be about my vacation

My Experience in Chennai (CBSE South-Zone Chess Tournament)

Part 1: The First 2 days.

Day 1: Bursting Tires, Criminal Drivers, Fainting Team-mates, etc.

I had gotten up at 5:00 am and our train reached Chennai at 6:30.  Out team was four boys, four girls, our chess coach and our music teacher. Out of the four boys, two stayed really close to my house, and I knew them. Both of these people were okay; the other boy was a joker. After getting down from the train, we split into two groups. The four boys were one group and the four girls were another group. The first group went off in one auto, and the second group was following them in another auto. I was in the second group. As we went, we were stopped by the traffic police. Only then did we realize that our auto driver did not have a license. He convinced the police to let him go after paying a fine of 100 rupees.  We were going along the road when all of a sudden there was a long bang - like something bursting. That something turned out to be our auto's tyre. We had to wait as the driver fixed the auto tyre.

We finally reached the school. It was huge. There was a big ground and a large building. The building’s four sides had a lot of space in the middle, in which there was the auditorium. Most of the speeches, dances, etc. were held at the auditorium, but all the things that I had witnessed there had gone over my head, not into it. The school had three floors and a terrace. The school also had a kitchen behind the auditorium, and we had all our meals in the auditorium. The school provided all the food. Sometimes the food was good, sometimes it was bad, all the time it was Chennai food (what else could we expect?). I liked the sambar, and luckily it was given in every meal. We had eaten outside the school only once.

After reporting in the school we went to our hotel. The hotel had two floors and a terrace.   That day also watched one of our school mates faint due to the intense heat of Chennai while having dinner. We had ordered our dinner from a hotel nearby for the first (and the last) time and were eating our dinner in the hotel's corridor and it was very hot there.  I had to change my room twice that day. First time, they did not give us an A/C room, so I had to shift my entire luggage to another room. In the night I again had to shift when I was told that we were occuping too many rooms and were going to be better organized. In the end, everything was finally peaceful. So that day, in the hotel, all I did was play many chess games, read a book (The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan), had a bath and went to sleep.

Day 2: Even Stevens; won 1, lost 1.

We got ready by 7:00 am in the morning. Having a bath was a huge problem because we had to fight for the bathroom. I went to my sister's room to avoid the argument and to finish my bath on time. All the four players from our school were supposed to sit beside each other and play their games at the same time. I was on board no. 3. I checked the list of players to see whom I was playing. I was going to play a rated player, which meant it would be a tough match for me. I went to one of the class rooms to play, played well till the end, blundered and lost the game after two hours of playing. Our chess coach said that I had played very well and he thought so because I had almost beaten a rated player. All my team-mates played FIDE rated players and lost except for one of the boys who was lucky enough to play someone with a rating of 0 (which means he was unrated). We had three hours till the next game, so we sat in the auditorium and played a few practice games.  I also met a boy from Bangalore, who had attended my school last year

In the lunch break, we had found a quiet corner, and we were eating. Suddenly, the boy whom I mentioned as a joker started singing. When you read this, it doesn’t appear funny; but if you were there, you would laugh your head off. The second game was a very easy one for me. As our team didn’t score many points, we had to play another team that had lost the first round too. I won that game easily. I really tried to play slow, but my opponent blundered so early in the opening (the first 4 to 10 moves of a chess game) that I finished the game in ten minutes. So for that day, I had won-1, lost-1.

We went back to the hotel to relax, and our chess coach organized a small tournament for us. All the girls caused a lot of trouble and took a long time to assemble. Our chess coach decided that if there was another small tournament, they wouldn’t be invited. After the tournament, we had to go back to the school to eat our dinner. All of us came back to the hotel very tired, and went to sleep. I wasn’t able to sleep because our coach and another boy were snoring really loudly in the night. On the first day, I had slept early and didn't realize that there were snorers in our group. Just when I was about to drift off to sleep, the boy (who I mentioned as a joker) started singing. Everybody woke up and started laughing, that was when I went to sleep.

Note: There were many other funny things that happened, but they can only be expirienced and can't be typed.

Exams and Stuff.....

The exams have gotten over, and now I can post on my blog again as I am not busy studying all the time. Exams were really tough. First we had Math, then Hindi - my 2nd language, Science, Social Science, English and lastly Telugu - my 3rd language. We had half day of school on all these days (even for the computers exam which was the first). Everyday, we had assembly, and then we wrote the exam and came home. They wanted to send us home really early and rushed us to the buses, so we students did not have time to discuss our answers. I don’t really think that exams are necessary because we have tests for each and every single chapter during regular school days. So I'm not sure what the purpose of exams are other than to check how well we remember our lesson. But since every school has exams, I think there must be some good reason for it.

I have been selected for the CBSE zone chess and tennis tournament. The tennis tournament is in November and the chess tournament starts tomorrow. I will write (type) about my experience as soon as it gets over. I had played in the CBSE zonal  chess torunament last year too and I didn’t like it very much even though I won 8 out of 10 games. There were many reasons, but, I am trying to make things better this time. This year the team is bigger, and all the players are better too (than last year's team). I even know most of the team members as they are from my colony. Even my sister is on the team this year. Unfortunately, all of them are younger than me so this might make the trip boring for me. But I still plan to enjoy the tournament

Note: There is no note this time.

My 4 Years of Harry Potter Experience

The movie Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 released in theatres a few weeks ago. As my birthday treat, I took my friends for the movie. The final part of the Harry Potter series was very exciting.

My favourite Harry Potter book is the Deathly Hallows. I liked it because it was really thrilling and exciting as the story had many twists. It was also the first (and last) Harry Potter book which I was waiting for, as I started reading the series just after the Order of the Phoenix (movie) released and by the time I caught up with the books, J.K. Rowling was writing or typing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The last few pages of the series were really confusing and it took me a while to understand them. I have all the Harry potter books except for the Order of the Phoenix and the Prisoner of Azkaban, which are the two books that I borrowed from my friends. The book that has the most pages is the Order of the Phoenix, but it is a bit boring.

My favourite movie was the Goblet of Fire (there is a lot of difference between the books and the movies). I felt the movie was good because there were many parts in the book which I wasn’t able to understand but the movie cleared all my doubts. My first Harry Potter movie in the theatre was the Half-Blood Prince. I did not like the movie because the duelling in the end was cut out (except for Harry shooting spells at Snape about 3 times). I did not like the Prisoner of Azkaban at all because there was no Voldemort which made the story a bit boring. The Deathly Hallows part 1 was really good because there was a lot of duelling. One of my favourite scenes was in the Order of the Phoenix movie, when Dumbledore fights Voldemort in the end.

Even though I knew Harry would win in the end, like the good person always does, it was really thrilling to watch him beat Voldemort. In the book, Voldemort died in one piece and he slumped across the floor but in the movie he just turned into dust and blew away which was a bit funny. My friends also thought that Voldemort saying the killing curse was very funny. The movie was a short one (the shortest of all 8) and it was just a little longer than 2 hours. The movie was good and I will be waiting for it to be shown on T.V.

When I and my friends were in 3rd grade, we used to act like Harry Potter. At that time it seemed very interesting, but, now I realise how silly it was… memorising the spells, imitating Voldemort, talking about magic school and quidditch, all sound funny now. But there were really fun things at that time. I still see young kids (who maybe came to know Harry Potter recently) doing it, and sometimes I feel like telling them it is very funny, but I always remember that even I used to do that. Almost everybody less than 20 years knows Harry Potter and it is an important part of their childhood.

The first Harry Potter movie released in 2001 and the last one released in 2011. This means that the actors spent 10 years acting in just the Harry Potter movies. This is a very long time and I think they must have literally lived like their characters for the past 10 years. I wonder if they’ll be able to act as other characters because I can only remember the characters they played in the Harry Potter movies – especially Harry, Ron and Hermione.
I have wanted two things to release since a very long time- one was the last Harry Potter movie and the other one was the last book of Power of 5 by Anthony Horowitz. Now that the first thing I wanted has been released, I'll be waiting eagerly for the second one.

Snake in the Yard

Today was a nice Sunday. I thought that I would update my blog later in the night; and I was thinking about what to write.... I was thinking about the new Harry Potter movie, about what happened in school last week, about the games I play with my friends... then suddenly my dog started barking so loud that I knew something abnormal was happening; then I heard my father shout asking all of us to get inside immediately and close all the doors.

emailed pictures
That was when I saw the snake.

It was really huge, certainly taller than me. It was curled up around a flower pot and my dog was trying to attack it. My father was calling my dog back, but my dog was just barking and I got really scared. I took some dog biscuits and tried to call my dog inside, but my dog was not going to come without attacking the snake behind the flower pot in our garden. My mother was about to call the security, when 3 security guards came to our gate along with our gardener and the manager of our colony. It turned out that they were chasing the snake which came from my neighbours house.

We all tried to move my barking dog into the house, before he could attack the snake. Then a security guard moved the snake by poking it with a stick. It immediately slithered across to the back yard and climbed over the wall and into another house. My dog chased it till it climbed over the wall. We finally caught our dog and put him back into the house.

But the snake was still not caught and the security guards went looking for it. They finally found the snake in another house and killed it by beating it with sticks. A guard then dragged the snake to the center of the colony. I rushed there with my camera, but the camera's battery was dead. One of my friends had come with her camera, but she was afraid of going near the snake, so I took some pictures with her camera. The half dead snake was moving a lot and a few people were so scared of the snake that they looked away whenever it moved. When it was completely dead I touched it to feel how it was; it felt really soft, like jelly. All the children who had come to see the snake called their parents. Many of them scolded the security guards for killing the snake instead of trapping it. The security guards promised to trap a snake if they ever saw one again.  We also realised it was a rat/whip snake and was not poisonous and felt bad for killing it. The guards threw the snake out of our colony, where it would never be seen again.

I like all animals, and I am not afraid of snakes. I know that there are 4 types of poisonous snakes in my country- the Cobra, two types of Vipers and the Common Krait. The fear of snakes is known as ophidiophobia. After the way my neighbours behaved after seeing the dead snake, I think they all have the phobia. When someone is afraid, they don't think logically. I realised this when I saw all of us go after the snake trying to kill it.... without even thinking if it was actually harmful or not. I hope that the next time I see a snake I think and behave logically without getting scared.

Note: Sometime back, I found another packet of chocolates at home. But it is almost done now.

Last Week

Last week was a very busy week, and I could not write about anything even though many interesting things happened. Today there was a bandh and we did not have school today. Even yesterday was a holiday for us. I don't like bandhs at all because when we miss school, we need to go to school on Saturday and the whole day gets wasted. I really don't understand the purpose of bandhs at all. I do know that these bandhs are being done so that a new state can be created soon. But I still don't understand how a bandh will help create a new state. I think I should read the newspaper and follow politics to understand this. But I really think they should put a bandh on the bandhs

During the weekend, I went to my best friends Vishal's house. He stays close to where I live. As usual, we spent most of the time playing video games and watching some funny videos. The one video game both of us have is the DS/DSi. We usually play multi player.

Of all the sports I play, tennis is my favourite . The Wimbledon finals between Nadal and Djokovic was a very good match. My favourite player is Federer, but after seeing how Djokovic played and moved on the court, I think I should start admiring Djokovic.

Note: There are no more chocolates at home.

Chocolates

Let me write about chocolates. I have been eating a lot of chocolates of late. This is the picture of all the different brands of chocolates I have been eating. Actually, not all of them; many of them were finished before I even took this picture. I know about the different types of chocolates like dark chocolate, milk chocolate, white chocolate etc. and that each of them have different taste. But, for me, as long as it is chocolate, I will eat it. Now you can guess how much I like chocolate donuts.

Today was not very busy. I played with my pet dog, did my home work, and had fun with the kids in my colony. Today's school assembly went on for a long time. We had to vote for our head Boy, head Girl, and lot of other fancy posts and all of them were giving their election speeches. The whole process was boring because I couldn't hear most of what they were saying. I hope the speeches will be better next year, and I also get to hear most of it.

Note: I don't know what awesome thing I will do tomorrow.

Plans For The Day

As you can see, from my plans for the day, I am a very busy person. So this is going to be a very short post.
This blog has just become the diary of a student; a student who has a younger sister, a pet dog and friends whose names will occupy too much space. Enough for now. Future posts will be more detailed.

Note: Mad about chocolate too.

Plans for tomorrow:
  • Eat Chocolate
  • Attend School
  • Eat More Chocolate
